Security Officer Bilingual Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Bilingual Patrol Specialist in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Allied Universal officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations with integrity, and help create a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
- Support daily location operations by assisting with closing procedures, monitoring high-traffic areas, and providing visible security-related presence during busy business hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
