What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and/or vendors, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity.
- Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the perimeter, gates, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, as working conditions may vary by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or disruption by maintaining awareness of facility activity and reporting suspicious, unusual, and/or policy-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security experience of 1+ years is required.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
