As a Security Officer Unarmed - Screener in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed security-related procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized items in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, document relevant details, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, docks, and perimeter zones as directed by site procedures and operational needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
