Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Port Jervis, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors within financial institution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by location guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or criminal activity within the financial institution environment.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related needs and/or concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
