As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances, conduct screenings, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and screen individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related tasks and responding to inquiries from staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional presence at assigned post, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Applicants must have required vaccinations for hospital environments.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
