As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will interact with visitors, patients, and staff, delivering excellent customer service while supporting access control and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and answering questions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare facility staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns specific to the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or unauthorized entry within the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
