As a Security Officer Bike Patrol in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and/or other designated locations, verifying authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, relay important information during shift turnover, and support Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations throughout the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
