Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work through teamwork, and act with integrity while putting people first every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or medical facility concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor and staff traffic flow, helping to support a professional environment and clear communication during routine and elevated situations.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns, and communicate with site contacts, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A current guard card/license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
