- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and security-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support staff during routine operations and urgent situations by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating clearly with supervisors and/or site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
