Security Officer Processing Plant Overnights

As a Security Officer Patrol and Badging in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, delivering exceptional customer service, and using strong communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify concerns and report conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site policies.
- Support site operations by observing loading and receiving areas, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and assisting with traffic flow, directions, and general security-related inquiries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
