As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees and/or visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, entrances and exits, parking areas and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, policy violations and/or potential theft indicators, helping to deter and/or discourage unlawful activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical events, fire alarms and/or unauthorized access.
• Control access to restricted areas as required by post orders, verifying credentials and directing visitors to appropriate points of contact.
• Observe, document and report maintenance concerns and/or hazards such as spills, damaged doors, broken lighting and/or obstructed walkways to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events, helping to maintain orderly pedestrian flow and reduce conflicts.
• Use radio and/or telephone communications to coordinate with site management, local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, documenting security-related observations, actions taken and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Provide visible patrol presence and customer assistance, offering directions, escorts when requested and support for lost and found procedures per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
