As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Concierge in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting employees while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic and respected environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control at the entrance, verifying identification and/or credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors as appropriate for a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document security-related incidents, visitor logs, and daily activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed, providing information or assistance related to security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities and/or evacuation procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
