As a Security Officer - Academic Welcome Desk Full-Time in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading education-focused location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and staff while monitoring entry points to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, managing access, and responding promptly to any inquiries or situations that arise. You will utilize technology and communication skills to maintain a secure and welcoming environment, embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, students, staff, and faculty at the front desk, providing excellent customer service in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and security-related incidents as required by the site.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following location protocols and instructions from site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
