As a Security Officer Access Control Reception in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic educational location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access activities, monitor for security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a visible, reliable presence while supporting daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach in an agile and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out front desk procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, confirming identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to established front desk protocols.
- Answer phones, support sign-in and/or sign-out processes, and maintain accurate front desk logs, reports, and other required documentation related to security-related activity.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts when appropriate.
- Observe lobby and reception areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and consistent application of location procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
