Security Officer Armed Patrol License Required

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related activity.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence in high-traffic healthcare areas.
- Support medical location operations by assisting with de-escalation, observing for security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
