As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while bringing an agile and innovative mindset to each shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies for a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and/or contractor access in accordance with location guidelines.
- Support emergency response activities, alarm-related procedures, and evacuation directions when appropriate, while communicating with Allied Universal leadership and location contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
