Security Officer Armed Patrol Officer

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Officer in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities while maintaining a professional armed presence.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or public sector personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, secured areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry where required, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or operational issues according to post orders.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and support security-related operations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
