Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver

As an Allied Universal officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas as part of a driving post, helping to support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout school grounds, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for students, staff, and authorized guests.
- Assist with school-related events, arrival and dismissal periods, and/or other high-traffic times by maintaining a visible presence and communicating professionally with staff, visitors, and public personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
