Security Officer - Telecom Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Telecom Armed Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will engage in routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the tech and media environment.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Exposed Firearm Permit required
• Seecret Clearance Preferred
• Active Californoia Guard Card
