Security Officer / Driver

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, following security-related policies, and/or responding to situations that require assistance at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel, verifying entry authorization and/or directing individuals according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
