Security Officer Driver

As a Security Officer Driver in Rancho Mirage, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and staff, and support a professional, welcoming environment. - Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points, verify required credentials or visitor information, and report concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating medical, behavioral, and/or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and waiting areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and document screening-related interactions or incidents.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as needed, with duties and working conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
- The ability to restrain individuals is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
