Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Healthcare Screener with Allied Universal, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a secure, professional hospital environment. You will screen individuals, provide clear communication and exceptional customer service, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting a welcoming healthcare environment.
- Screen individuals entering the facility in accordance with established access, visitor management, and health screening procedures.
- Verify visitor authorization, provide directions, and communicate applicable entry requirements in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, screening concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
- Maintain accurate screening-related records and report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
