What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, following all Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail setting to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, site management, and Allied Universal supervision regarding any incidents or observations.
• Remain visible and accessible to provide assistance, directions, and support to customers and staff as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities as outlined in site-specific procedures, coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
