Security Officer Front Desk Specialist

As a Security Officer Front Desk Specialist in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will welcome visitors, manage front desk access activities, and support security-related awareness through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to deter incidents through a visible presence while delivering a people-first experience grounded in teamwork, integrity, and the agile, reliable, and innovative values of Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening visitors, and assisting with access control for employees, guests, and vendors at the location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor information in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Answer phones, provide directions, and support front desk operations while helping to maintain an orderly and professional environment within the location.
- Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
