Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed, and help to maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
- Support property operations by observing building conditions, assisting with directional questions, and communicating security-related or customer service concerns in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
