Armed Security Officer Full Time Multiple Shifts Job in Richmond, Virginia

As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitors, employees, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Possess five or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
