Security Officer Patrol Operations Full Time Job in Richmond, Virginia

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations Full Time in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting concerns and following site procedures. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
