Security Guard Overnight Access Control Job in Rincon, Georgia

As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Rincon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain entry records, and direct guests in accordance with location requirements.
- Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, delivery, and contractor activity at gates and designated access areas; communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
