Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Job in Riverside, California

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to court staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of court facilities, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access in accordance with established procedures; and direct visitors to appropriate court services locations.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
