As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with access-related inquiries and directing them as needed within the facility.
• Assist in the enforcement of security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items on the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, to help to identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Complete and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, access control transactions, and incidents.
• Collaborate with logistics and distribution staff, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as required during emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
