As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and secure atmosphere, guided by our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the facility, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and assisting with inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate based on protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and observe for any unusual activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed and assist with site evacuations or other procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate relevant information and address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
