Security Officer - Dispatch Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Patrol Driver Government in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas and coordinate communications to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong presence, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols as required for the location.
• Operate communication systems to coordinate with security-related personnel and relay information regarding incidents or requests for assistance.
• Document and maintain accurate records of incidents, dispatch activities, and communications according to site requirements.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by staying alert and maintaining awareness of all activity within the assigned location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
