Security Officer - Train Station

As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. Your role involves responding to calls, coordinating communications, and offering exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. In this driving role, you will be responsible for vehicle-based patrols as well. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and respond to communications and alarms from various locations within the government transportation setting, relaying necessary information to security-related personnel and/or local authorities as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Document and report incidents, activities, and any irregularities to Allied Universal management and appropriate on-site contacts in a timely manner.
• Assist in coordinating emergency response activities and follow escalation procedures while maintaining a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Help to deter disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring surveillance equipment or security-related systems as assigned.
• Maintain accurate logs of all dispatch activities and track the status of security-related personnel throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
