As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with individuals on-site, and act as a reassuring presence. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff, visitors, and patients in a professional manner.
• Assist with emergency response protocols specific to healthcare locations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and/or other incidents.
• Comply with all site-specific procedures and regulations, including those related to armed patrol responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card and/or armed guard license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
