Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance Job in Riviera Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required records while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
