Security Officer Unarmed Visitation Job in Riviera Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Unarmed Visitation in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, greet residents and visitors, and maintain accurate records. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and guests while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access at residential community entry points by verifying authorized residents, guests, deliveries, and service personnel in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access-related information to appropriate onsite personnel.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
