Security Officer Utility Mobile Job in Riviera Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Utility Mobile in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
