The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Schedule: Saturday- 0600-1400 and 1400-2200
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support orderly movement throughout the location.
- Document incidents, patrol findings, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Hospital assignments require vaccines.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
