As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, provide clear communication, and deliver customer service while documenting observations using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution and logistics location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and drivers, including checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, and directing vehicle and foot traffic as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate shift updates to the next officer and/or site management, and assist with security-related observations such as damaged doors, gates, lights, and/or cameras.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
