As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the financial institution environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and daily activities as required, ensuring accurate and thorough reporting in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or authorization for entry to restricted areas as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
