What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally with patrons, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations that may arise on site.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist in emergency response activities as outlined in site protocols, including communication and coordination with local authorities when necessary.
• Support loss prevention efforts and/or incident investigations as required by the client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
