As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Rock Tavern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access, adapting to different working environments within a technology-focused location.
• Observe for any irregularities, report incidents or suspicious activities, and maintain detailed records as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and managing visitor and employee entry as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts in line with Allied Universal training and client site procedures, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and answer inquiries related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
