Security Officer - Security Clearance Required

As a Security Officer -Aerospace Patrol Clearance Required in Rolling Meadows, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an aero and defense location, you will complete routine unarmed patrols and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas, support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and provide clear communication and customer service to onsite teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal management as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, verify events, and coordinate response steps with on-site teams and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate status updates during shift change briefings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
