Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Round Rock, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to guests and staff. In this unarmed role, you will support a welcoming environment while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to hotel management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, corridors, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control expectations, and document security-related observations.
- Assist with reporting and documentation of incidents, policy violations, and/or disturbances, while communicating professionally with guests, staff, and supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
