As a Security Officer AeroDefense Patrol Security Clearance in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a high-visibility presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control operations, and document activity using site technology. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute through teamwork and integrity in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and chain-of-command communications.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Control access points by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor entry processes, and directing employees and visitors to appropriate locations per site requirements.
• Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have a guard card or license preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
