Security Officer - Station Foot Patrol Job in Sacramento, California

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the broadcast facility, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry for employees, vendors, guests, and delivery personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and work collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
