Security Officer Overnight Screener Job in Saint Pauls, North Carolina

As a Security Officer Badge Systems Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production facility perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Document observations, access-control activities, and incidents accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
