Security Officer Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Saint Simons Island, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier resort location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This driving post may include routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and innovation, you will help create a welcoming experience for guests, residents, and staff.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, lobbies, and restricted areas to help manage authorized access, verify credentials, and document visitor activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
- Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, access-related events, and unusual occurrences, and help to deter policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
