Security Officer - Community Access
As a Security Officer - Community Access in Saint Simons Island, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, authorizing entry, directing visitors, and documenting guest, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around guest areas, common spaces, entrances, and the perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Communicate clearly with hotel or resort personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access activity, incidents, and/or changing site conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
