As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents while monitoring and patrolling the logistics and distribution location. In this primarily driving post, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through professional and courteous interactions. This position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Observe and report on any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with directions, access, and security-related information as needed.
• Communicate and cooperate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
